Our client has an immediate opening in New York for a legal sales professional to sell electronic discovery services into top law firms and Fortune 500 corporations. They are seeking individuals with excellent relationship building skills, a strong intellect, and demonstrated closing skills that will identify and develop services and software business opportunities in the professional legal and corporate marketplace.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree, JD degree desirable
  • Minimum of 2 years legal sales and business experience.
  • A sound technical understanding of the electronic discovery marketplace in the services and/or software areas
  • Strong presentation skills including ability to perform software demonstrations
  • Great listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions and clearly discuss business value propositions
  • Excellent proposal writing skills and ability to manage complex sales engagements
  • Strong follow-up and deal closing skills
  • Must be comfortable with all major Microsoft Office applications
  • Must desire to influence and participate in the strategic direction of the company, its services and its software products

Senior eDiscovery Sales Executive $100,000-125,000 East Coast

This is a rare opportunity to enter an industry that is growing exponentially.  The eDiscovery field, already a two billion dollar sector, will double in 2009.  As a Senior eDiscovery Sales Executive, you will command a six figure income with incentives.   You will forge relationships with a number of the AmLaw 200 law firms and act as a liaison to markets on the East Coast and around the world.

A visionary up-and-coming full service Litigation Support, Forensic, and eDiscovery provider is seeking only the best Executive Sales Professional to build and grow the East Coast and European market for Asian based corporation and the AmLaw’s that represent them. You will be selling into the partner and senior associate level.

Solicitation in this role is for MASTER SERVICE AGREEMENTS ONLY.  Meaning, you will sell full service for case specific engagements, starting with acquisition, processing, hosting, and then production.  These are typically seven figure contracts with a projected 90 day life cycle from introduction to execution. 

This role can be based anywhere on the East Coast, but preferred locations are DC or New York.  Total projected compensation in year one: $300K.  Year two: the sky’s the limit!
